Sanofi-Sinthélabo, a French company specializing in the pharmaceutical sector, has reported a 50% growth in net income for six months, which reached the figure of 671 million euros. A push upward Sanofi profits were mainly the increase of sales of the drug Plavix and the reduction of operating costs in 1999 when he created the company. The results were slightly better than analysts’ expectations, with the title on the wings of enthusiasm on the stock market gains 2.1% to 73.30 euros, in contrast with the Cac 40 index (-0.6%).
